Goodbye and Goodbye Forever CyanogenMod. It was great seeing you be the greatest project alive in the world of android roms. But it sadly had to get passed down to Lineage OS. I actually don't like this switch because now some devices won't be able to run Lineage until the latest Firmware for them comes out.

These poor people including the leader of the project lost his dream! How sad is that!!! How would you feel if your dream cracked in half. But it's good that the project is still alive and that they are still taking care of the dead soul, and they named it LineageOS. I hope LineageOS will be a good replacement and not some little ditch to replace it's name and stuff. Lets keep our dreams rolling and make the greatest project in the whole world of Android Roms!

His dream lives on but with a different name, and you gotta admit, the new name actually sound kind of cool!

well there was nothing wrong with rom or anything. Eventually, i have to delete my google account and add it again. After that everything worked out.....simple fix.

ah my, because if they say ETA will be 2 weeks, and then - for above mentioned reasons - they cant deliver then there will be truckload of fools moaning omg where is my update...

Hope lineage os is better.....but we all will always love CyanogenMod for all the support and the Nightlies

I remember my first rooted phone, htc hero with CM7, and a couldn't leave CM since then.

I started picking devices not by their specs but if they are supported by the community. Ofc you cant know that by the time it gets announced but you can predict pretty easily.
